Manufacturing Process Engineer – German Speaker (m/f)

Located in Echternach / Luxembourg

Your responsibilities

- Planning and implementing machine and process improvements (e.g. continuously working on scrap reduction topics)

- Ensuring a smooth integration of new technologies and machines into mass production

- Executing hardware/software changes and recommend changes to the controls of the production lines as needed

- Taking responsibility for the productivity, the scrap rate and the line organization of defined product groups

- Initiating and managing Six Sigma projects or lean projects to improve the shop floor KPI’s

- Planning and performing line visits on the shop floor for customers and internal departments

Your profile

- A university degree in electrical engineering

- Excellent knowledge of production related KPI’s such as quality, HSE and productivity

- Good knowledge of Six Sigma methods and Lean methodology

- Experience in project management

- Excellent MS Office skills, knowledge of SAP and database systems is an advantage

- Good knowledge of and experience with different PLC systems would be an advantage

- Ability to work independently, excellent analytical skills and a proactive attitude

- Fluency in German and English is required
