Applications are invited for appointment as Global Development Manager, Grade 5, Global Galway, Full-Time, SPC at University of Galway. This post is being offered as a specific purpose contract and will terminate by reason of the expiry of its specific purpose.  It is anticipated that the duration of this assignment will be circa 2.5 years.

The Global Development Manager will be a member of the management team within Global Galway, reporting to the Head of Global Recruitment and take responsibility for delivering University of Galway’s international student recruitment strategy for given regions and contributing to the expansion of its global agenda in those regions.

We are seeking someone with real passion for the internationalisation of Higher Education, a spirit of innovation and creativity, and five years’ experience in international student recruitment, including the successful development and implementation of international higher education recruitment strategies and plans.

Salary:  €59,234 to €80,303 p.a. pro rata for part time positions (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011) and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the University’s Remuneration policy.) This appointment will be made on the grade 5 scale in line with current Government pay policy.
