Western Europe are currently looking for an experienced Commercial recruiter who will develop and execute recruitment strategies to find, attract, and hire the best talent. In this position, you will partner with our business leaders and hiring managers in numerous markets within Western Europe, and develop and deliver a talent acquisition strategy which identifies and engages the top talent in the marketplace. You will share the company vision with potential candidates, competency based assess them and connect and position this talent with our hiring teams. Our Talent Acquisition team is an evolving organization - where your work and input will help directly influence our future. You will be responsible for account management across a large and complex business, evangelizing process change to managers, and providing the critical feedback necessary to improve our results and increase business impact - all while keeping a candidate first approach. Your role as advisor here is crucial! Responsibilities include: - In collaboration with key business and HR partners understand and help determine short and long term talent acquisition needs to meet business objectives - Develop strong and effective partnerships with business leaders, executives, HR Managers and to advance talent acquisition initiatives - Partner with talent sourcing to build candidate generation plans to attract passive and active candidates but also to show a passion for carrying out talent sourcing yourself - Deliver highly qualified external candidates against open positions drawing upon consulting skills and recruiting expertise to recommend best course of actions to recruit, assess, select, and hire. - Always provide excellent candidate experience and be truly candidate obsessed! - Provide strategic consulting and influencing skills to provide talent acquisition expertise and recommendations to hiring managers and business leaders - Serve as leader on recruiting strategies - develop/implement strategy and timeline - drive the business from selection to closure - Understand candidate career goals, design compensation recommendations, and consult to clients on how to successfully hire candidates - Monitor and analyse Talent Acquisition information to identify trends and/or opportunities to improve client group hiring capability or results. Qualifications: - BS/BA degree or equivalent experience - 5+ years of recruiting experience requiring account management and candidate generation, preferably with experience in the technology industry - Strong business acumen, understanding the company and business priorities and how this relates to Talent Acquisition - Experience of working with senior Leadership - Proven ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines, including using relationship management techniques, that yield high quality candidates for short and long term hiring needs - Superb customer focus, attention to detail, and organization skills - The ability to come with out of the box solutions and to work in project teams to drive best practice - Ability to interact and influence business leaders at varying levels - from new managers to Vice Presidents - Experience of working in at least a couple of our WE markets (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria and Switzerland) Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer and supports workforce diversity.
