FundPartner Solutions provides a full suite of fund administration and private label funds services. The global team of industry experts specialises in fund domiciliation, registration and governance, as well as risk compliance and investment management services.

Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group's key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.

The role of the function is to act as a technical reference for your projects' stakeholders, removing impediments and enabling the correct prosecution of project roadmaps. The Tech Lead ensures the smooth-running of the projects and be involved in the operational requests, implementing specific client requirements and providing the second line of assistance to our business teams.

Your role

Produce detailed designs, formalize, and implement technical solutions for our projects related to the Fund Operations (Fund Admin, Transfer Agent), based on market standards and architectural good practices.

Provide guidance and support for approved, initiated projects.

Provide qualitative analysis of business user needs and evaluating the feasibility of their requirements.

Collaborate with enterprise architecture to align data needs, integration of new solutions

Providing L2/3 support to business stakeholders

Manage technical production incidents (coordinate, implement resolution)

Carry out release engineering tasks.

Carry out troubleshooting and system integration testing tasks.

Understand, adapt, and contribute to the innovation of target architectures.

Collaborate closely with the members of the Funds Solutions unit in Luxembourg, as well as with other teams such as the Architecture team in Geneva and development team in Pictet Technologies Luxembourg

Proactively introduce and endorse good practices related to your projects' technology stack.

Contribute to a cross-fertilization environment, empowering your colleagues and leveraging on their individual skills.

Your profile

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Information System or  Software Engineering.

Requested experience

• Min 5 years' experience in Engineering department or development team

• Experience in Java/JEE and related frameworks, and/or Python and PL/SQL

Language skills

• French : fluent level

• English : B2 minimum

Technical skills

• Good understanding of PL/SQL programming language

• Proficiency / admin experience with versioning systems

• Strong software design competences

• Strong data modelling skills

• Good Funds Operations knowledge and proficiency in the Transfer Agent and Funds Accounting domain

Soft skills

• Ability to address problems with methodology.

• Ability to anticipate client needs and be proactive.

• Strong motivation to continuously increase quality and efficiency.

• Excellent analytical skills

• Ability to work with developers on-site and in an outsourced environment.

• Capacity to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously.
