Read on to find out more… Are you a qualified teacher with experience of working with chldren and young people with autism who is looking for a new challenge? Do you have high expectations and are you committed to improving outcomes for some of the most significant and challenging chldren and young people with autism in Nottingham City? Do you have the flexibility to work across a range of schools, settings and private sector nurseries and across all ages, abilities and key stages? Would you welcome the opportunity to be working within a successful, well-established autism team, developing new strategies and delivering training to schools and other providers? Are you committed to continual professional development and exploring innovative ways of working? The Autism Team is part of the Inclusive Education Service.

The team works with the chldren and young people who present with the most significant and challenging needs relating to autism.

We work with nurseries, mainstream and special schools and provide support to families.

We are looking to appoint for autumn term 2019 a highly motivated and experienced teacher who can work in partnership with settings, schools and families to promote the inclusion of children and young people with autism.
