As our incumbent Finance Manager is being promoted to a global finance role within the Account, we are now looking for Finance Manager/Controller for one of our Global Key Accounts within the financial sector in Helsinki.

The Finance Manager/Controller is an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative and complex environment, as part of a Global Account team. You will support to ensure a systematic and effective employment of financial tools and knowledge to empower Operations Leaders across the country portfolio.  This role presents a unique opportunity to work within a global account team to ensure transparency, data completeness, benchmarking and contractual obligations are delivered in a compliant way to both ISS and customer stakeholders on a country level.

Key Accountabilities in this role:

- Finance Business Partner to Country Key Account Manager with the target of developing the account and driving positive financial outcomes.

- Responsibility for driving growth and the financial contract performance.

- Deploy ISS standard financial reporting and governance tools across the account ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

- Champion ISS financial principles in accordance with the ISS Accounting Manual

- Providing finance and business support, lead and own the budget, and forecasting processes.

- Client facing role, working closely with multiple levels of stakeholders and strong requirement in understanding and supporting the customer needs and delivering timely support.

- Ensure compliance across the account/site including contract specific financial requirements are effectively managed - ensuring all measures are taken.

- Prepare and present monthly business review presentations, both internal and external

- Managing the monthly, quarterly, and full-year financial reporting, including consolidation and preparation of financial reconciliations and managing country level financials through Insight reporting

- Consolidation of account level contract change notes in the country (CCNs)

- Assist in training customer on reporting systems, respond to customer communications, and follow up as necessary.

- Ensure optimal use of Insight (OneStream) and encourage automation where possible.

- Continuously evaluate process improvements within financial reporting and all other areas of responsibility

- Support customer with any other various reporting assignments or ad-hoc financial requests where necessary

- Support customer and country teams with purchase orders, invoicing, etc. where necessary

Success Criteria for this role:  

- Support the deployment of financial strategy incorporating clear linkage between OneISS vision, transformation, and business excellence.

- Strong Commercial acumen with ability to develop/propose new ways of working and then execute quickly.

- Stakeholder management skills, able to engage and influence decision making.

- Capability to strengthen financial understanding across broader portfolio.

- A focus on standardization and process improvement.

- Natural problem-solving ability, coupled with experience in creating tangible solutions.  

- Ownership of the contractual financial requirements.

Ideal Candidate Experience and skills for this role:

- 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility working financial business partnering, financial analysis or similar remit.

- Experience in complex financial analysis and reporting.

- Experience in budgeting and forecasting more than 5-10m€ of annual spend, within the facilities management industry is a plus.

- Experience in a global operating environment with different levels of stakeholders

- Experience in working for a facilities management organization is a plus.

- Fundamental commercial and financial acumen.

- Measured and calculated decision maker.

- Curious and willing to unpack detail outside immediate remit.

- Experience at interfacing at all levels throughout an organization

- PC literate with high skillset in excel in OneStream, and Tableau a plus.

- Communication and presentation skills of high level

- Ability to influence, articulate and hold a position.

- Able to work well within a collaborative team-based working environment.

- Fluent communication in both spoken and written business English as well as in Finnish.
