Objective:-
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is expected to perform a variety of duties in the recruitment of CAREGivers including but not limited to recruiting, screening, hiring, and training of CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients.
Role:-
The recruitment of CAREGivers from start to finish (interviewing and compliance check)
Posting new positions on various websites and jobs boards and our internal CRM talent system.
Check Job boards each day and record name and number for call back
Answer each employment inquiry promptly in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
Develop and implement new recruitment and retention strategies along side HR Lead and Managing Director and driving this strategy.
Proactively Sourcing candidates using various, different social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.)
Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner
Create and maintain all employment records including Certificates, work permits, GNIB cards and all other employment related documents
Sort incoming resumes and logs them into appropriate tracking spreadsheets and HRM system
Complete and send out staff compliance; offer letters, contracts, bank details, employee handbook etc.
Coordinate candidate interviews and training
Assist in the Garda vetting process for candidates
Conduct professional/character reference, private security check, Garda checks and motor vehicle checks (if required) on all CAREGivers
CareGiver information logged on Internal scheduling software (People Planner)
Organise and conduct monthly meetings along side Scheduling an QA department to determine CAREGiver of the month
Build relationship and retain relationship with stakeholders
Attend open days when required
Assisting HR Lead with disciplinaries and investigations
Providing monthly stats from reports for Managing Director.
Any other ad hoc duties as required.
CAREGiver information logged on Talentlink/PP/ Load new CAREGivers.
Schedule CAREGiver Information Day (per schedules set up on Shared Calendar)
Actively find new ways to recruit and advertise, this is key objective to successfully deliver in this role
Screen candidates through internal hiring criteria and HI standard requirements and hire candidates timely to achieve monthly hiring KPI targets
Schedule and conduct new hire orientation and all training (New Hire and Existing Employees)
Ensure we are optimising the use of HR systems, e.g. Talent Link.
Experience requried and core competencies:-
2 years Recruitment Experience (preferably in healthcare).
Previous experience with ATS/CRM preferred.
Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people.
Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Excellent organisational and planning skills
