The Company

Our client is Japanese manufacturer of electromechanical components, used for transport systems such as conveyors.

Within Europe the target customers are system manufactures, who provide turn-key solutions regarding the set up of dispatch centres and factories.

Now our client is looking for a motivated Japanese speaking individual to join the back office team in Eastern-France and assist with the logistic and insides sales related tasks.

Objectives, Tasks and Responsibilities

You are the communication interface between the European customers, the company and the headquarters in Japan, ensuring a smooth communication between all sides to increase customer satisfaction. More specifically your tasks will include:

• Receiving, checking and following up the orders from the customers in Europe and communicating the relevant information to the Japanese Headquarters and/ or production sights

• Preparing/ issuing invoices

• Tracking shipments and keeping the customer informed about the new deliveries

• Respond quickly and fairly to all complaints and keep the clients informed regarding the resolution of a complaint.

• Basic administrative tasks

Your Profile

• University degree or completed vocational training

• Eagerness to learn new things

• Pleasant, positive demeanor

• Strong intercultural communication skills (= capacity to adapt oneself to the way of thinking of an international company)

• Excellent general communication and people skills

• Affinity for numbers and accurate document control

• Languages: Business level Japanese and English necessary, French skills are a plus but not mandatory

• Ability to work independently, as well as in close cooperation with a team
