The ideal candidate is someone who has an excellent can do attitude, enjoys the fast pace and varied nature of working in the kitchen and has the ability to work efficiently as part of a team

Duties -

To prepare, cook and serve food ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained and that agreed standards for food preparation and presentation are met at all times.

Cook & prepare all dishes on the menu

Check freshness & quality of food

To carry out daily and weekly procedures, including food labelling / dating and storage.

To adhere to procedures in regards to temperature checks, food labelling and dating, cleaning schedules and hygiene regulations at all times ensuring that all records of such are maintained

To be familiar with the opening and closing procedures of the kitchen and carry them out

To keep high standards of cleanliness and to assist in any job regarding hygiene or cleanliness

To be fully aware of all the health and safety at work regulations.

To carry out and assist in the smooth running of the kitchen

To ensure that all statutory, as well as company, hygiene regulations are being strictly adhered to.

Make sure the hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation.

Role Requirements:

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Have a good command of English both written and spoken

Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service and hygiene

Be standards driven, a team player, flexible

Possess the ability to work under pressure
