We are recruiting 5-10 Project Engineers (Concept / Basic Design) to our offices in Turku or Espoo (Finland).

Project Engineer (Concept / Basic Design)

The work includes project design/lead and expert tasks (hull, machinery, deck outfitting, HVAC or electrical), coordinating between different disciplines to have functional concept/basic design, taking a stand on the rules, etc. Therefore, a common understanding and interest in shipbuilding and the rules of ship design is very important.

As an expert/lead you will work closely with customers and the authorities.

What kind of candidates we are looking for

We expect you to have 5+ years' experience in ship design, especially in concept and basic design. The requirement is an Engineering or Master's degree.

Employees are also often involved directly in the customer interface, so we expect all applicants to have:

- customer service willingness

- active approach and problem-solving capability

- the ability to perceive entities

- teamwork ability but also the ability to act independently

- good written and oral expressiveness

- English language skills, other language skills are an advantage

- team leader skills are an advantage
