AMC Hafborg ehf is an Icelandic construction company seeking skilled, motivated, and reliable carpenters who are interested in relocating to Iceland for long-term employment and career growth.

We are currently looking for a carpenter with the ambition and potential to grow into a foreman role.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will work closely with the company owner on a variety of construction and renovation projects. The role involves both hands-on carpentry and participation in project organization and coordination.

Work will take place both at our production facilities in Reyðarfjörður and at construction sites in South Iceland.

The standard work schedule is 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, with the possibility of overtime.

Payment is made in accordance with the collective agreement of the Confederation of Icelandic Employers (SA) and Samiðn.

The company assists employees in finding rental housing in South Iceland. When working at the factory in Reyðarfjörður, housing is provided by the company.

Requirements:

Experience in carpentry and construction work

Strong practical building skills

Good organizational abilities

Leadership potential and a responsible attitude

Good English speaking and comprehension skills

Willingness to work as part of a team and grow within the company
