Service Technician (HVAC). Irlanda

Responsibility for the maintenance , repair and commissioning of full range of HVAC equipment.

Deliver great service to customers whilst working on equipment. E.g. Air Handling Units, chillers, kitchen extract canopies, fire dampers and controls.

Ensure all customer equipment is in perfect working order , efficient and effective.

Travel within Leinster region to collect parts etc.

Responsibility for Ireland and international (two weeks in four ) installation and servicing of HVAC equipment, Mainly Data Centres.

Collaborate with colleagues and the management team as necessary.

Escalate to direct report of risk items.

Ensure that all customer facilities and services are made available within the requirements of the contract specification and ensure assets are operating effectively. Liaise with specialists and suppliers in relation to industry and manufacturing requirements.      

Ensure Continuous Professional Development.     

1 year plus experience in Service HVAC Technician role.

Experience working on large commercial projects.

Proven experience with servicing HVAC equipment.

Strong analytical skills,  problem solving ,diagnostic & ability to think on feet  and meticulousness attention to detail.

Self contained and the ability to work alone on some assignments.

Good Documentation practice.

Excellent communication  both verbal and written including influencing  and problem solving skills.

Strong leadership, people management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels , including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Working knowledge of VSD’s and conventional motor starter controls.

Understanding of BMS systems  and other systems of control.

Ability to read and interpret schematics & drawings.

Electrical and mechanical building service  experience required.

Professional certificates are desirable.

Familiarity with the use of PC based tools. (Word , excel, etc.).

Full clean drivers license.

Legally entitled to work within Ireland/EEA.

Fluency in English both verbal & written.

Work within Heath & Safety guidelines at all times.

Build organisational capability through measurement with key metrics that have been identified.
