Service Manager - Earn up to £296 per day plus benefits (PAYE) or £384 per day (LTD) Our Global Pharmaceutical Client, a top 100 FTSE company, are looking for a Service Manager to join their Business Intelligence team in Middlesex for 12 months, to lead the architecture, design, and development effort on collaboration projects for Global Ethics & Compliance; leveraging Microsoft technologies: SharePoint, InfoPath, and desktop Office tools. Oversee junior developers as needed. Provide service management for SharePoint solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Delivery of Solution Overview Document, System Architecture Document and other architectural artefacts as may be required by the programme and/or client * Liaison with programme, client, suppliers and delivery team * Formal evaluation of 3rd party products used in the solution * Architectural proofs of concept to ensure that solution will meet functional & non-functional requirements * Architectural oversight and governance of the programme * Delivery of solutions (role is hands-on) Qualifications / Skills / Experience: Essential: * Advanced SharePoint (TeamSite setup, custom lists, export / import, access controls, workflow, site config) * InfoPath form development and deployment on SharePoint * Advanced Access and Excel skills * Service management * Offshore vendor management * Exceptional professionalism * Extensive IT experience, as well as experience in a lead architecture role delivering major projects * Strong understanding of data-centric systems involving storage and processing of millions of transactions daily * Ability to assemble a broad set of technologies and services to create a complete solution to a business requirement: application software, middleware, database, hardware, storage, network * Understanding of the system development lifecycle from pre-sales to live operation and support from a managed services perspective * Understanding of 3rd party products that client may have to integrate with e.g. ERP / Accounting products, rules engines etc. * Ability to provide technical authority and governance role through lifetime of project * Commercially and politically astute, able to see solutions in wider context of client strategy and customer engagement * Experience managing relationships with clients at the senior technical and business management level * Experience managing technical relationships with suppliers and partners * Excellent interpersonal skills including facilitation, negotiation, collaboration and influencing Desirable: * XML skills ideal but not essential For a confidential discussion on the above role or other similar roles please send your cv / or call 01707 247259 Key words: Consumer Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Service Manager, SharePoint, InfoPath, MS Office, Offshore Vendor Management, Project Delivery, Data Systems, System Development, 3rd Party Products, Governance, Stakeholder Management, Contract, Middlesex Gi Group Pharmaceuticals provides a tailored Account Managed Service and dedicated Pharmaceutical recruitment team and partners with many different Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology clients throughout the globe and the United Kingdom.
