Descripción de la oferta de trabajo:

Purpose

The Senior Manager concepts and innovation will lead and coordinate all mission critical initiatives within the Global Logistics function. He / she will support projects and programs to ensure that our company can support our growth through doing things differently and using innovative technologies. This includes creating transparency about the ongoing programs and promoting collaboration between departments within and outside the functions. In addition, he / she must ensure that our efforts serve the overall strategy of the company.

Key Accountabilities

• Transform global logistics concepts and initiatives into projects to ensure that logistics setup supports growth, creates business cases, secures funding, and executes projects

• VP Global Logistics support with presentation preparation meetings / events

Project Management

• Lead and manage to successfully transfer the current environment into a digitized SCM landscape, end-to-end, ideally through applying PMI/ Distribution Solutions methodology effectively.

• Partner with the internal market SCM, GIT, business units, finance department in order to identify and agree on project requirements and goals to then set up and manage related 3 PL projects on Warehousing and Transport.

• Ensure full understanding of project scope to be able to design detailed project plans.

• Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively coordinating people and resources.

• Drive and measure engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures to ensure KPIs are met.

•Monitor the project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.) against the project plan in order to implement corrective or preventative actions.

• Form and lead multi-functional project team resources (internals and externals) to deliver and support projects and programs.

• Manage the change management approach for respective project and ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.

• Finalize all activities across the projects/programs to formally close and hand over the project, ensuring project documents are approved, completed, maintained, and stored appropriately.

Dependency Management

• Think globally and x-functionally in order to identify project dependencies and their impact, raise dependency issues with the project sponsor and co-create solutions

Financials and Controlling

• Establish project controlling as an independent element within the project to verify and control the allocated project costs on time in budget.

Communication

• As conflicts and escalations arise within projects, identify solutions and propose these to project sponsor and support their resolution in a timely and appropriate manner.

• Use appropriate and effective communication methods to Senior Management and project stakeholder throughout the project life cycle, in order to successfully deliver and embed the project within the organization.

Meeting Management

• Supporting VP in potential meetings, communication and events

• Supporting VP Executive Assistant with Meeting Management (internal and external meetings, conferences, VP video conferences, ensure and support the delivery of presentations, meeting minutes, and follow-ups)

• Creating documents and/ or presentations for Meetings and events

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

• Fluent English skills (verbal and written), 3 Languages is an added value.

• experience in all the aspects of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

• Strong experience in continuous improvement, progress improvement, process standardization, supply chain matrices, Lean and Six Sigma

• Good skills and experience in modern project management methods (LEAN, TPM, 6 Sigma, TQM) with

• Strong numerical and analytical skills and experience in Supply Chain

• Strong project management skills (identification, development, management and coordination of programs in the whole logistics chain) and international experience is a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures through good communication skills.

• Pro-active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end.

• Business mindset: mid to large-scale project or program management in the field of 3PL

• Ability to coach, guide and manage a (project) team.

• Strong experience to manage complex global projects on 3PL WHS and 3 PL transport related initiatives.

• Strong experience to work on several projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business.
