Senior Head of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (all gender) (Ingenieurinformatiker/in)

These are your tasks:

- Lead with vision: You lead the global Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)-Organization, define and execute the global AMI strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, market trends, as well as long-term business growth.

- Own the portfolio: You manage the full lifecycle of AMI products and solutions—from concept to rollout—ensuring integration, scalability, and compliance across hardware, software, and digital services.

- Drive market impact: You anticipate customer and regulatory needs, foster strategic partnerships, and position Diehl Metering as a global leader in smart metering and digital energy solutions.

- Inspire teams: You lead and develop a global team, establish governance structures, and strengthen collaboration across Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Services.

- Shape the future: You monitor emerging technologies (IoT, Cloud, AI, cybersecurity), drive innovation through strategic alliances, and continuously evolve the AMI portfolio and business models.

Who we are looking for:

- You have a university degree in engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field and proven leadership experience in in Smart Metering, Utilities, Energy, or IoT industries.

- You have a strong expertise in AMI ecosystems and their components.

- You have experience in in global business leadership, P&L management, and portfolio strategy.

- You have the ability to drive organizational transformation and foster innovation.

- You have excellent spoken and written English skills, German, French or Polish is a plus.
