Role We are looking for an innovative engineer with embedded C/C++ and assembly software programming skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team of Optical/Electronic/Signal Processing/Software Engineers/ CTO. Working closely with hardware engineers, you will be responsible for delivery of software specification, design, coding, white-box testing, defect resolution and documentation. Project work will range across the entire product life cycle and will include data analysis, prototyping, productising, manufacture testing, technology research etc. You are a self starter, someone who excels in a team environment where you seek responsibility and grow your role within this small company. The agility and dynamics of an international start-up environment are appealing to you. This is a full-time position, located in Dublin, Ireland. Some occasional travel necessary. Requirements 5+ years of experience of software development in embedded systems environment, including design, development, debugging and modification of existing systems. 3+ years of experience of working with C/C++ and assembly B.Sc/B.Eng. degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field Experience working with modern 32-bit ARM microcontrollers (Cortex-M4, M3, M0) and associated toolchains Experience with complex designs using abstractions, modules, design patterns, and reusable system architectures Familiarity with debuggers, logic analysers and oscilloscopes Aware of need for standards and quality - used to meeting strict deadlines, whilst producing quality work Fluent English, excellent verbal and written communication skills and capable of working effectively and confidently with customers, team members and management Enthusiastic and ambitious about working in a dynamic and vibrant growing company.
