Senior Development  Fundraising  Manager REPORTS TO: AssociateDirector,Major Gifts  DEPARTMENT: Advancement LondonBusinessSchoolisahighly respectedinternational businessschool,com prisingacommunity ofcelebratedfaculty, students,alumni and colleagues.   TheAdvancementteamis engaged in friendraising and fundraisingactivitiesto support LondonBusinessSchool’s ambitiousgrowthandtosecureitspositioninthe premierleague ofbusinessschools.Theteam’s key activities includeengaging w iththeSchoolcommunity throughthemulti-facetedalumni engagementprogrammes andraisingfundsfromalumni, friends, corporations,foundations and trusts.   The  School  has  recently  closed  a  highly  successful comprehensive  f undraising  campaign  to  support  London BusinessSchool’sworld-classr esearch, academicprogrammes andinnovativenew facilities.Thecampaignwhichcl osed two yearsearlyraisedover£125msurpassingthe£100mtarget while alsocompl eting124,000volunteer hours.Members ofthe Advancementdepartmentatalllevels play amajorrolein continuingthiseffortbyworkingtobuild important relati onships and promote the image of the School. JOB PURPOSE To identifyand pro-activelymanage a portfolio of major donorprospects,deve loping multi-level relationships in order to delivermajorgifts foridentifi ed Schoolpriorities. Prospectpoolwill be based mainlyin UKwith possible work in Asia or GCC. KEYAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY/KEYPERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs): Entrepreneuriallyapproachportfolioand develop tactical engagementplansands trategyformajorgiftfundraisingto maximiseincome,profileandinfluencefromalu mniand friendsof theSchool. Toensureportfoliostrategyisalignedtothewider departmentalstrategyandgoals. Tocontributetotheplanningprocessforthenextcampaign.   FUNDRAISING   Developandmanageaportfolioof80-100prospectsand to regularlyandstrategica llyreviewprogresswithAssociate DirectorMajorGifts.   Tomeetorexceedmajorgifts visit,solicitandfinancial   incometargetsinlinewiththeSchool’sprioritiesfrommajor   prospects.   Carefullydocumentvisitsanddevelopcultivationand   solicitationplansfortopprospectsinordertodeliverresults   withintheacademic yearthattheprospectsare visited.   ToworkcloselywithKnowledgeManagerinthebriefing   anddeliveryofhighcalibreproposalsandapplicationsfor   fundingandsponsorship,workingcloselywithkeyfaculty   asandwhennecessary.   WorkcloselywithDonorRelationsteam toensuredelivery   ofseemlessandoutstandingstewardship   Toincreasethebreadthanddepthofcurrentpipelineby   buildingandexpandingrelationships.   MANAGEMENT       Manage performance /achievement/engagement to ensure that the teamachiev es individualpriorities and       collaborates with colleagues to achieve widergoals.
