What do we offer?Take this opportunity to create the future of pump solutions for Grundfos Water Utility, starting today and reaching 5-10 years ahead. Focusing on global customer needs and fruitful collaborations, you will take a leading role in defining, develop and commercialize pumps solutions and in facilitating how we add value to customers through digital offerings.You become part of the Water Utility segment. More specifically, you will join the Business Development team. We are responsible for creating the global strategic ambition, developing offerings and leading business development initiatives to grow the Water Utility business. We are also commercial experts in new offering launches and support our sales companies, when needed, to ensure successful water utility sales. We are orchestrating the strategic journey in moving from pumps to solution selling and from creating value for customers mostly in the physical world to also creating significant value in the digital world.You will team up with 4 other colleagues primarily focusing on Water Supply. You refer to Søren Skjalm-Rasmussen, Director, Water Utility, Business Development.What is the job about?As Business Development Manager, you will contribute to provide the future strategic direction for Grundfos Water Utility business and lead and execute your own specific projects to deliver new solutions and offerings for a number of water utility applications.Based on end-user research and interaction to collect, structure, analyse and applicable insights and data, you will develop overall go-to-market strategies, including relevant distribution and sales channels with the purpose commercializing new solutions and offerings globally.You will execute in close collaboration with stakeholders across the value chain and drive the changes required to deliver on the future direction and your projects.You will to great extend being part of delivering on the digitalization strategy and identify and prioritise digital business value propositions and you will be working in sprints to quickly test new ideas, and to secure implementation across the value chain.What do you need to apply?You hold a master degree with either a technical or a commercial focus or preferable a combination of bothYou have experience with project and/or solutions sale and preferable also from the Water Utility Industry.You have worked with customer insights and data collection and turning these into commercial offerings.You have worked on strategic level setting the direction for a business area but is also motivated by driving the actual execution of concrete new commercial offerings.You have 10+ years of relevant work experience – preferably a combination of hands-on sales, business development, mapping customer needs and identifying new business opportunities.Ideally you have experiences in creating and executing digital strategies within a global business environment and from combining physical and digital value-addsInternational work experience, as well as experience from a global manufacturing environment is preferred.You communicate effortlessly in English; Danish is not a requirement.In this truly global role, you will need an international outlook and the ability to collaborate and communicate both in- and outside Grundfos. Thus, you enjoy working together across geographical and organizational boundaries, executing complex or specialised projects and activities across market segments and regions. Your job takes you traveling approximately 40-50 days per year, which entails representing Water Utility at various events, meeting customers, as well as visiting sales companies and planning and following up on implemented solutions and offerings.The position is preferably based at headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark, but we are open to candidates with residence outside Denmark with the option of being based in one of our 80 offices globally.Additional informationIf you have questions or w
