Descripción de la oferta de trabajo:

Oticon is rated as #1 place to work for Engineers

This is according to “Ingeniøren” - but why is that? We believe it is our innovative work environment. Oticon is a large, growing company in the medical-technical industry, where our +500 engineers are all committed to deliver well-made, high tech solutions for hearing impaired people worldwide.

We want hearing impaired people to be able to experience the sounds of life. This is the foundation of everything we do. This is what drives us and keeps us focused on innovation and efficiency.

For us, true engineering excellence is to deliver an ultra-small technological marvel in a discrete, user-friendly package. This takes state-of-the-art development methods and serious engineering skills. We want unmatched, high performing solutions and walk the extra mile in our quest for technological excellence.

The position

You will define and drive initiatives focused on improving the way we work with requirements to strengthen the quality of the products we develop. You will be the expert in the framework and way of working with requirements and support your colleagues in this. Your expertise will cover knowledge of Systems Engineering and applying it in development of products within a regulated medical device context.

As we are responsible for the framework, you will also be supporting the users and ensuring that the requirement process integrates seamlessly with other systems engineering disciplines.

The Team

You will join our Requirements & Verification Group within R&D which is responsible for processes and tools used for requirements, verification and defect management within hardware and software as well as for multiple development methods from Stage Gate Models to Agile.

The team consist of ten engaged people with a mix of competences and interests. We – like the rest of Oticon – take pride in being great colleagues and help each other achieve our goals together. In the team we strive to work together both across our disciplines and with our colleagues in R&D.

We are now looking for our new colleague - a Requirements Engineer profile having experience with rolling out solutions and improvements in a diverse setup. In return, we offer you a job in an engaged team with a professional attitude.

We are looking for professionalism, experience and dedication. Your perspectives, insights and ideas are the cornerstones of our success and we encourage you to think out of the box and structure your work with a high level of freedom.

As interacting with multiple stakeholders is part of your day-to-day activities, we expect you to build and maintain relationships across the organization. You have excellent communication skills and a desire to influence people and processes. You take initiatives and decision-making comes naturally to you, as does the ability to think ahead and identify opportunities for improvement within your area of responsibility. You are pragmatic and ready to drive changes.

To succeed in the position, we expect you to hold a degree within Engineering at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level. You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience within product development ideally with a specialization in systems engineering. Furthermore, you have a solid experience with driving process improvements. You have acquired this experience in a larger company or organization, as a consultant or alternatively within e.g. mobile communication, where mechanics, electronics, software and user interfaces had to be integrated.

Experience in working within FDA regulated industries will be considered an advantage.
