The Regional Sales Manager based in Stavanger is responsible for planning and executing sales in a proactive way in the Region, with the clear target to increase sales portfolio of RESMANs products and services.

The successful candidate must have relevant work experience from the Oil and Gas service industry. In addition, relevant experience from Oil and Gas operators is considered beneficiary.


  • Education:

    Minimum bachelor's degree within reservoir, geology or other oil related education on bachelor's or master's level.

  • Industry experience:

    Minimum 7 years' experience within the upstream oil and gas industry

    Practical operational and/or technical experience with subsurface oil & gas operations.

    Technical sales experience, and proven track record on sales and business growth, toward O&G operators is a requirement. Preferable within production optimization.

    Knowledge of interwell and inflow tracing is desirable.

  • Language:

    Fluent in Norwegian and English is a requirement

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all assigned sales activities in set region with a focus on growth.
  • Build and execute the required sales plans (i.e., engages each client account and key decision makers, positions RESMAN favorably in the region, pursues the development and closure of all sale opportunities).
  • Actively lead all client interaction throughout the entire sales cycle, performing the necessary client cold calls, technical presentations, follow up meetings, etc. and actively participate in project implementation along with the operations team.
  • Responsible for all account and opportunity management tasks, including client account profiling, competitor activity tracking and evaluation, ITT/RFQ response and proposal preparation, pricing and contract negotiation, and project implementation support.
  • Effectively liaises with all internal departments, stakeholders, 3rd parties and clients, while maintaining a high standard in terms of professionalism, ethics, quality, reputation and QHSE.
  • Performs all required internal reporting, such as sales forecasts, project P&L sheets, cost control, business case documents for new product development, business growth plans, timesheets, CRM, etc. while utilizing the required company tools.
  • When required, assists Operations staff in in project implementation tasks, such as: client activity tracking,
  • Attends and represents RESMAN at key industry events and conferences relevant to the business.
  • Travels as needed for external and internal meetings.
