We now have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team as a Programmes Administrator, to cover a period of maternity leave.

The role is head office based, and for a 10-month term.

In this role of a Programmes Administrator you will: Complete a range of allocated administration & project-based tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard.

Assist in the provision of business, administrative and organisational support to the GB Cycling Team.

Assist in data collection and processing across a range of fields and from a number of different sources (competition results, athlete demographics etc.).

Organise and monitor stock and storage across the department Including the electronic equipment and resources.

Maintain the confidential filing systems through electronic and paper-based activities.

Undertake research and assignments as directed Assist in the production of correspondence, reports and presentations efficiently and to a high standard.

Organise internal & external meetings, providing an administrative support where required.

Co-ordinate, update and distribute incoming and outgoing post for the GB Cycling Team.

Provide general operations and administrative assistance to the Programmes Officer, Programmes Co-ordinator and Executive Assistant to the Performance Director as required.

Assist with the day-to-day operations of the programme, including its interaction with athletes, partners and stakeholders.

Responsibility for ensuring office environment is at a good standard.

Placing stationary orders, checking stock levels and authorising the renewal of office equipment and furniture as required.

What you need is: We are keen to hear from candidates with a sound knowledge of business administration processes, are able to prioritise their own workloads and meet deadlines.

Candidates should have some previous experience of being a co-ordinator and/or an EA and working in a busy, diverse, target driven working environment.

You will have daily contact with staff, riders and the general public, not just on a face to face basis but by phone and in writing, so a high level of tact and diplomacy is as important as confidentiality.

You will be required to build positive working relationships, contribute to finding solutions for better team and department working and have excellent attention to detail.

This is a profession which is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check will be required.
