Are you ready to be a part of building a strong product management function through good collaboration between supply chain, innovation and sales? Join Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) in Aarhus, an independent company within the Arla Foods Group, with an ambition to become the true global leader in third party manufacturing(TPM) and in value-added whey. Business Area TPM is responsible for production, development and sales of retail products to TPM customers within the infant formula industry, as well as overall responsible for the product management of the infant nutrition category of products from our production site(Arinco). Manage our product knowledge from A-Z We are looking for an agile and detailed Product Manager to manage our product portfolio within powdered nutritional products for our TPM portfolio of products and for powdered infant nutritional products for our branded business, and thereby strengthen the product management function of the organisation. Your job will be to develop a good technological understanding of the product portfolio and market insights in order to support product and production development with market needs. You will gather and maintain product, production and market information on your product portfolio, and support sales teams and markets with all relevant product related information. Linking the insight from our production processes and business opportunities, you are able to understand the entire supply chain flow and make sure that we translate market needs into product optimisation and development. You will be responsible in securing that we get the right product at the right cost and at the right time. In addition, you will participate in investment projects linked to the product portfolio, and be responsible for analysing and gathering an overview of the competitor landscape within your product responsibility. You will be responsible for managing, developing and optimising the assortment from our Arinco dairy. You will be a vital knowledge resource as well as a central link between the dairy, the local marketing departments and local sales organisations. In this way, you facilitate smooth coordination and cooperation across the organisation. You will also lead or participate in projects, e.g. in connection with new initiatives or in connection with aligning and optimising our assortment. Strong in product and project management and with excellent interpersonal skills Your background has given you a sound business understanding and experience with product management or project management – preferably from an FMCG or retail environment. Your education is a business degree at Master’s level, which has given you a solid analytical foundation. In the search for continuous improvement, you have a curious, proactive mindset, and you use your sensing skills to navigate within a large matrix organisation. You display attention to detail and a structured approach to your work, and you thrive working with many tasks – planned and unplanned - at the same time. Experience with SAP is a clear advantage. Lastly, you are engaged, positive and service-minded. Being the interface between supply chain, innovation and sales with contact to a broad range of stakeholders makes communication skills and style very important for the success of the product manager role. You use your market and product insight and know that the best results are obtained through sound and positive collaboration with others. Lastly, you are proficient in written and spoken English.
