• Bachelor's Degree / Master's degree in Sociology or Sustainability or Environmental Engineering or relevant fields
• 1+ years of socio economic, techno economic, and life cycle analysis experience
• Knowledge about recycling systems, circular econnomy, and water water treatement plants.
• Knowledge about sustainable business models
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• IT Skills
• Project management and project writing skills
• English language skills
• Ready to learn new skills and language

Arbeidsoppgaver

Arctic Experts AS is participating in the EU Interreg NPA Project, names as "Energy & Resource Recovery from Wastewater for Circular Economy (ENFORCE)." This ambitious project is set to redefine the landscape of wastewater management by moving away from outdated practices that fall short in efficiently recovering energy and nutrients. Through the adoption of circular economy principles, including recycling, reuse, and the recovery of resources, the ENFORCE aims to transform wastewater treatment facilities into centers of energy generation and resource recovery. Such a shift is expected to generate significant economic benefits, especially for the smaller and more isolated communities within our area of focus, heralding a new era of environmental stewardship and economic resilience.

The new employee tasks encompasses a thorough analysis of the current wastewater management landscape, exploring innovative technologies for resource recovery, and developing a viable circular business model. The tasks include:

i. life cycle assessment,

ii. techno-economic analysis,

iii. socio-economic impacts.

iv. sustainibility business modeling

Through these analysis we aim to redefine wastewater treatment for a nature-positive economy.
