We currently require a Plumber / Plumbing Engineer at HMP Highpoint to maintain prison buildings, fabric, associated plant and equipment including security items, in a safe manner. The Plumber will act as a valuable member of the prison maintenance team and will be required to deliver a high level of service to ensure the upkeep of maintenance and repair of all staff and prisoner facilities in the estate Key responsibilities: * Carry out all PPM tasks in accordance with the annual PPM Planner, and notify any repairs as necessary * To be available to respond & repair any reactive calls rose through the onsite Helpdesk * Ensure all record keeping functions are completed on a daily basis * Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of workmanship and safety * Ensure that any difficulties encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Engineering Supervisor /Manager as per escalation procedure * On reasonable request be available to work overtime to accommodate the sites requirements. The scope of equipment to be worked on will include but not be limited to the following: * Air Handling Units * Boilers * Pumps * Water Heaters * Pressurisation units * Building management system * Control system * General Plumbing and Building Maintenance Essentials Skills/Experience * Must hold a minimum of Vocational Qualification at Level 2 as an plumber or related area.
