For our worldwide headquarter in Bad Zurzach/Switzerland (near Zurich) we are searching for a highly motivated Packaging & Labelling Procurement Specialist (f/m) – 100% In this role you will leverage your expertise in the area of packaging and purchasing to translate design and marketing briefs into the right packaging solutions – from development to sourcing and negotiations with vendors. Roles & Responsibilities: •Manage sub-commodities including: corrugated, folding boxes, printed cards, films, labels, pallets, cushioning materials, blow molded cases, and other packaging as appropriate •Vendor management programs including Vendor Rating and Selection in line with strategic sourcing guidelines, vendor audits on site, conduct RFI/RFP/RFQs and business reviews with key suppliers and negotiate contracts on behalf of the Company with Year over Year (YOY) productivity expectations •Translate design and marketing briefs into packaging solutions from development to sourcing and negotiations with vendors •Work closely with the Businesses/Plants to identify and execute strategic sourcing plans to achieve continuous annual cost savings for this commodity group •Contribute to effectively manage the Global Packaging & Labelling supply base in support of plant, region, and corporate goals (Service, Quality, Cost, lead times, etc.) •Development and maintenance of Packaging & Labelling Standards (Quality Aspects, Material Master, Vendor Master, etc.) •Travel within Europe region Your ideal profile: •3 to 5 years working in PD&D (Product Design & Development) in the area of packaging and 2 years’ experience in Packaging Engineering and Packaging Procurement is preferred •Experience in Packaging & Labelling material development against the full GTM cycle (concept to production execution) for at least 3 to 5 Seasons •Experience accomplishing RFI/RFP/RFQ, determining decision criteria, scoring vendor responses and recommending vendor selection •Strong sourcing and negotiation skills demonstrated •Well familiar with costing of raw materials, determining cost savings, research, analysis and finance skills preferred •Self-motivated, resilient, able to work independently while being a strong team player •Hands-on Project management skills •Excellent MS Office skills, familiar with SAP MM,SRM and BW reports •Fluent in English, written and spoken.
