OS Excavator driver

We have available 1 position as Excavator driver for our vessel "Bona Safir". Excavator Kobelco 500 - 2019mod. This new position will be as a second/releaving driver, working hours mostly evening/night.

The position requires a person dedicated to smooth driving, and knowledge about maintenance and servicing of the excavator. Experience from Grabequipment required. General deckwork and knowledge about corrosionprevention and paintsystems is required. It is expected that maintenanceplanning and inventory management of equipment is kept at all time. Also the ability to plan jobs along with main driver, assisting in maintenance but also work independent will be appreciated.

Position also includes maintenance and running of an hydraulic driven cutter system, so knowledge about hydraulic/mechanical work including good welding skills is required.

Apliccants without above average english knowledge, will not be taken into consideration.

Bontveit Rederi AS is a small family owned company with 25 employees, operating 2 selfdischarging vessels.

Both vessels "Bona Sea" and "Bona Safir" is on contract, and operates only within Norwegian waters, and have NOR flag.

Crew is mixed Norwegian/Polish, with a rotation of 4/4 weeks.

Wages according to NOR flag standard.
