Family owned business that aspires to be Ireland’s leading sporting goods distributor and wholesaler to the sports retail trade. Now looking for an Office Administrator to join their team. Within a supportive environment, you’ll receive all the training required to bring you up to speed on our product range and systems to ensure that you succeed in your role. As an Office Administrator, you will greet visitors to our office and warehouse and perform a range of administrative tasks: Responsibilities • Taking orders over the phone and via email • Processing customer orders using Sage 50 Accounts Professional • Answering the phone and forwarding messages • Greeting clients and advising staff of their arrival • Providing information regarding pricing, product information, deliveries and collections • Processing stock adjustments • Processing cash sales • Printing & emailing invoices • Creating new products in Sage 50 Accounts Professional • Printing product labels and barcoding • B2B website maintenance using Shopify • Photocopying and scanning • Filing • Arranging tea and coffee for meetings • Working in a flexible manner and responding to changing circumstances and situations • Completing any other duties as requested by other members of staff Key Requirements • IT Literate - Competent using MS Outlook, Word & Excel. Previous experience using Sage 50 Accounts Professional or Shopify an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided, experience using any other systems an advantage • Excellent Communication skills – ability to communicate effectively and confidently both written and spoken, fluent English essential with excellent telephone manner & attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads effectively Personal Attributes • Enthusiastic – pleasant demeanour, desire to learn and upskill, ability to work co-operatively with a variety of people and also independently without supervision, reliable and willing to pitch in wherever needed • Well presented - smart casual Hours of Work Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm, Friday 9am to 3pm Holidays 22 days annual leave Salary €25K Candidates should email a CV to meldaricia.ie or submit via this website. **While this position is full-time, there is a possibility of job sharing on a 5 day fortnight basis, should 2 candidates wishing to work part-time be identified as the best candidates**
