We are currently recruiting in Dublin for a: -Nighttime Security Operations Centre (SOC) Security Operator The successful candidate will have: -A valid static PSA licence. -Fluent written & spoken English. -Excellent verbal, written and communication skills. -Advanced computer skills and proficiency. -Strong computer hardware and software knowledge. -Strong analytical and problem solving skills. -An ability to work under little to no direct supervision. -An ability to work in a team environment. -An ability to multi-task. -Find logical solutions to problems, and remain calm and professional under stress. -Strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations. -An ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information. -An ability to speak clearly, give direction, and provide guidance to employees and the safety team during emergencies. -An ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership. Key responsibilities will include: -Identifying, analysing, and supporting incidents that may impact or potentially have an impact on the business, employees and visitors. -Communicating information surrounding incidents as appropriate. -Monitoring CCTV, utilising alarm monitoring and access control technology, dispatching specialists via telephone and radio, and providing general assistance to both employees and visitors. -Reporting for duty on time in full uniform. -Protecting life and property. -Checking that the location is secured internally and externally. -Checking for fire hazards. -Reporting all incidents to your supervisor and/or emergency services. -Keeping a report book on your person and noting all relevant information. -Reporting any faults on site to your supervisor and/or safety representative. -Carrying out all site orders with diligence.
