We Are Hiring – High-Skilled Nail, Lash, and Massage Technician

Position: Full-time multi-skilled beauty technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced beauty professional to join our team at Mjóddin Naglastofa – a busy, well-established salon in Reykjavík, specializing in Asian-style services with a strong focus on gel nails, lash extensions, and therapeutic massage.

✅ Job Responsibilities

Nails (Gel & Design)

    •    Experience in gel manicures and pedicures is an advantage

    •    Proficient in builder gel techniques, including dual form

    •    Ability to create custom nail art and designs on client request

    •    Capable of performing full nail sets efficiently and hygienically

Lash Extensions

    •    Minimum 2 years of lash extension experience

    •    Skilled in 100% handmade fan techniques, hybrid, volume, and mega volume

    •    Must be able to design and tailor lash styles to client eye shapes

    •    Experience with lash lift (perm) and brow lamination is essential

Massage (Asian style)

    •    Familiarity with traditional Asian massage techniques (e.g., foot reflexology, Thai massage, head & shoulder therapy)

    •    Must be able to deliver safe and professional services to a diverse clientele

    •    Hands-on experience in all mentioned services is an advantage

    •    Strong portfolio and references preferred

    •    Basic English speaking ability (Icelandic is a plus but not required)

    •    Willingness to relocate and commit to a long-term role in Iceland

Salary terms: According to the minimum wage specified in the collective agreement with Efling union, or higher depending on the applicant’s experience and skills

Working hours: Full-time position, equivalent to 173.33 hours per month. Work is primarily on weekdays; optional saturdays.
