Mechanic | Thurles, Ireland | Full Time | €35,000-€40,000, negotiable based on experience and qualifications

Our client is the Main Dealers for Renault and Dacia in Tipperary, situated in Loughtagalla, Thurles.

In this role, you will be working with a skilled team to deliver an excellent service. Reporting directly to the Aftersales Manager, you'll ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability are consistently achieved.

You will forge strong relationships with various stakeholders, including the Aftersales Manager, Service Advisor, Parts Manager, and Renault Ireland representatives, to align dealership goals effectively.

Are you the right person for the job?

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a main dealer environment

Proficiency in IT systems and diagnostic equipment

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Exposure to EV/hybrid technology is advantageous but not mandatory

A strong desire to learn and upskill is essential

Exceptional customer service skills

Full clean driver's licence

What will your role look like?

Lead by example, ensuring adherence to repair procedures and safety protocols

Mentor and train Technician apprentices to excel in their roles

Maintain workshop discipline and order, keeping tools and equipment up-to-date

Collaborate closely with the Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service

Stay ahead of the curve with continuous technical training and knowledge enhancement

Act as a liaison with Renault Technical Departments to diagnose and resolve complex issues
