The Living Word Liberation Centre Title Minister of Missions and Outreach Required Education Must be appointed by a Pastor, graduate degree from any background Necessary Skills Leadership, Public Speaking, empathy and ethics Reporting to Senior Pastor and Senior Ministers Position Type Full-time 37.5 hrs p/wk (expected to work inconvenient hours) Salary £24-30k Overall Aim: Minister of Missions will be expected to model honesty, to have the passion for the word of God and encourage young people to grow in a lively, committed and radical faith in Jesus Christ. Main Purpose: * Support Head of Parish and Senior Ministers in running the day to day activities of the charity, and in all the matters related to the growth and development of the Parish. * Maintain and develop good relationship with the Trustees, Senior Ministers and Pastors. * To be a full member of the congregation and so to attend leaders and workers’ meetings, training and prayers. * To have primary responsibility for the leadership of the Youth Ministry at RCCG Living Word Liberation centre. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * To take overall leadership and responsibility for the spiritual direction and programme ofdifferent youth groups, by working with the rest of the team. * To oversee a dynamic social programme, appropriate for the different age ranges, togather youth and build community and friendship. This includes creatively using opportunities offered by the Ministry * Provide mentorship and support to the community, particularly Youth, new believers and new members of the congregation. Be concerned with the wellbeing of the members and reaching out to absent members. * Formulates and directs the implementation of an organisation’s strategies. * Represents charity in consultation and negotiation with government, employees and other bodies. * Flexible and ready to work at inconvenience hours. Work under a culture of continuous improvement and always challenging the status quo. * Work with other departments to ensure that the attendance is adhered to and to ensure there is an updated members’ record. * Assist in setting up administrative structure to enable departmental functions. * Attend to all meetings and training required (plans, organises, coordinates and directs the resources of a special interest organization). * Confident with a positive attitude and ready to represent any lacking or growing departments. * Ready to intercede and lead the members in prayers. * Be involved in organising and managing every event held within the parish to completion. * Reporting to the senior Pastor of any non-compliant worker for the purpose of counselling and or disciplinary action agreed by all workers. Essential qualities/ skills * A vibrant, spirit filled Christian with the love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. * A love for young people with a passion for evangelism and outreach, both personally and at the ministry level. * A good communicator, in writing and orally, having confidence to speak in groups. * A team player, with the ability to encourage and work collaboratively with otherVolunteers, leaders and workers. * An understanding and can adapt to the culture of the Living Word Liberation Centre Ministry. * Have discipleship and Workers in Training Certificate * Should be self-motivated leader, with a capacity and capability ofadhering to and communicating the vision ofthe ministry, possessing relational skills with the rest of the youth and able to converse with a diverse of people. * Lead and organize effective Youth programs implementing fellowship, worship, Biblical teaching, discipleship, and evangelism, as well as ministry and mission opportunities. * Recruit, train and shepherd volunteer youth staff with diverse gifts and personalit
