At Seaborg Technologies we are developing and bringing to market an advanced and innovative molten salt reactor technology to provide safe and sustainable nuclear energy to the world. We are hiring a Master Planner with project management experience to prepare and maintain project schedules at different levels, track overall development status, assess progress and project risks, and report findings. The position will be an integral part of the technical management cluster, collaborating closely with and representing the CTO. You will interact with a wide range of stakeholders, internal and external, to assess progress status and compile reports to inform e.g. project planning and resource prioritisation, hiring, procurement, and business development.


  • Develop and maintain an overall project schedule, at all levels, for the CMSR development and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain an overall project risk tracking system.
  • Develop and apply tools and/or methods to assess the impact of requested or required schedule changes.
  • Develop and maintain an overall resource utilisation overview.
  • Identify and track key Schedule Performance Measures.
  • Contact point for schedule-related matters with technical partners, commercial interests, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.


  • Obtain and maintain a holistic understanding of our technology, deployment road map, and the overall project risk profile.
  • Negotiate and extract project progress and risks from Seaborg and our sub-suppliers, and compile into a holistic overview of current development status and future projections.
  • Assess planned, current, and forecasted resource utilisation.
  • Maintain at all times overview of technical development status and report to CTO and other stakeholders at frequent intervals and in case of concerns.
  • In due course, perform schedule risk analysis using Pertmaster or similar advanced risk assessment software.


  • A team player able to interact with, listen to, and understand specialists and managers in a wide variety of technical disciplines.
  • A structured and organised mindset who values accuracy and correctness and is excited about having and maintaining overview at all times.
  • A strong and outspoken personality who is not afraid to raise their opinion.
  • Ability to clearly and efficiently communicate comprehensive and complex project progress reports to a wide range of stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Prior relevant experience working with technical project schedule and risk management for industrial hardware development, including:

    • Work Breakdown Structures; S-curves showing planned, actual and forecasted progress; critical path; activity floats; schedule risk assessment, e.g. Monte Carlo; project schedule baseline; logical networks; person-power histograms; schedule levels.


  • Previous experience as a project planner, and preferably also as a project manager, for complex technical development projects, preferably from the energy (nuclear, oil and gas, renewables, etc.) or large-scale industrial process industries.
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera.
