Core Responsibilities

• Building LEGO models: Work to a brief in order to deliver creative and engaging models using our building system

• Story telling: Many of our themes have rich worlds and characters involved. Your work should seek to fit into these worlds and help build the narrative

• Conceptualize: When required, deliver concepts in short sprints either in bricks or sketch form

• Collaborate across: Work closely with a cross-functional team in a creative, international and open-minded environment

• Ideation: Build new stories, themes and concepts, and mature them into new play experiences and products

Play your part in our team succeeding

In a culture where collaboration and creativity are key, you will work closely in teams to brainstorm, build and design products that delight and inspire children globally. You will join a large international design team in Billund (Denmark), counting approximately 300 designers from around the globe, who are all enthusiastic about the impact of play.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate holds a formal education in industrial design, product design, toy design, fashion design or other creative education and possesses good English language skills. Moreover, you:

• Are passionate about design and toys

• Ideally have an understanding of our LEGO building system, either with bricks or digital sketching

• Have a teammate demeanor who actively seeks inputs from peers and other partners

• Have good communication skills to pitch concept ideas - both verbally and visually

• Have an innovative mind, which - combined with the playful approach of your inner child - enables you to build amazing ideas and concepts

• Have a high level of self-motivation and time management skills to reach deadlines

Please share in English your CV, motivational letter, and portfolio. Maximum upload size per file is 2 MB, but portfolio can also be shared via link clearly highlighted in the CV. Applications without portfolio will not be taken into consideration.
