Salary: £9,608.80 per annum (SPOT Salary) Hours: 14.8 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (0.4FTE) Location: Tonbridge Fixed term contract for up to one year, Maternity Cover. About the role We are looking for a Lecturer in Performing Arts (Drama) to join our Creative Studies team As a Lecturer in Performing Arts, you will work as a member of a team to deliver a co-ordinated, integrated learning programme ensuring that learners receive a high quality learning experience and achieve success. You will teach Drama to Level 2 and 3 students of all abilities and ages by preparing and delivering lectures and other associated learning materials in a professional and competent manner. You will also prepare Lesson Plans and Schemes of Work as required. You will need to have a Degree or professional training in Drama and also a Teaching Qualification, e.g. DTTLS, PGCE, Certificate of Education or equivalent, or the desire to achieve. You should have experience in the pr ovision of operational and teaching support for students within a Performi ng Arts environment, along with and excellent organisational skills and ability to adhere to strict deadlines. Level 2 English and Maths is required.
