KOK (Chef) / Team Leader Wanted for Canteen in Ørestaden

At Madkastellet Canteens, we operate the three canteens in KLP’s properties HUB1, HUB2, and HUB3, as well as the two dining establishments Café Nabo and KAYs. With an immediate start, we are now looking for a chef to join our team at our canteen in Ørestaden, where we provide food and meeting services to over 900 employees.

The menu changes daily and consists of both hot and cold dishes, with a focus on everything being made from scratch and full of (delicious) flavors. You will become part of our team that works on weekdays, typically between 6 AM and 3 PM, to create the best possible dining experience for the employees in the building.

As Team Leader for the company’s canteen assistants, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Communicate information from KC to the canteen assistants
• Plan vacation and absenteeism for the canteen assistants
• Introduce new employees
• Assign tasks to the canteen assistants

We are looking for a new colleague with:

• Experience from similar positions, including knowledge of cooking in large kitchens
• A vocational certificate – Danish or equivalent from abroad
• A broad understanding of the gastronomic fundamentals in the world’s most famous cuisines
• Passion for ingredients, with a creative approach to ingredients, techniques, and craftsmanship
• A team spirit – taking responsibility for both your own and the team's tasks, while respecting the good tone
