Who we are:

NJORD is a kayak center located in a cozy Norwegian village -- Flåm.

Flåm sits at the Aurlandsfjord, a branch of the deepest and longest Sognefjord and attracts millions of people every year. The area has something to offer for tourists of any kind: either it's a laid-back vacation or an active outdoor adventure. At NJORD we specialize in kayaking and hiking tours: - half-day kayaking seasoned with some cool stories about the area and its history - overnight kayaking trips from Flåm to Gudvangen with wild camping and outdoor kitchen masterpieces - hiking & cultural wanderings to Brekkefossen and Prest - customized private tours in the area We also rent out kayaking and camping gear for self-guided adventures.

You're our perfect match if you: have experience in seaykayaking, guiding, wild camping, and outdoor cooking can handle groups of difference sizes and different skills are a team player but also able to make decisions on your own, e.g. depending on changing weather conditions or high demand on busy days are looking forward to learning new things, e.g. how to sell products and deal with customers' requests, or maybe you're eager to take over some managarial tasks like email correspondance or shifts scheduling? have driving license and can drive a van with a trailer loaded with kayaks

What we offer: free housing in Flåm: shared kitchen, living room, and bathroom; bedrooms are either for 1 or 2-3 people depending on the capacity/season; garden with some space for your gardening projects free usage of bicycles and el scooters to get around free usage of camping and kayaking gear min. 32 h working hours a week in high season June-August and flexible working hours in low season (April-May, September-Ocober) 1-2 days off a week
