Do you have experience from coordinating marketing projects and congresses in an international context? Are you structured and detail oriented and would you consider it a great challenge to assist our Global Congress & Event Team in the planning, execution and follow-up of international congresses and events as well as in running multiple marketing projects across teams in an international context?
Then you might be a good match for the Global Marketing team at Oticon Medical! You will be situated in the Danish part of our HQ in Smoerum - just outside Copenhagen.
The position is a maternity cover that will last approximately 1 year.
Are you a natural Project Manager?
In your new job you will become part of the Corporate & Online Marketing Team in Copenhagen, Denmark. Together with the Product Management teams (based in Gothenburg, Sweden and Nice, France) we form Oticon Medical’s global marketing function. Thus, you can look forward to working closely together with both Danish, French and Swedish marketing colleagues as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
Your working days will be truly diverse and you should be prepared to handle a wide variety of different tasks and projects simultaneously. However, your primary task as a Junior Marketing Project Manager, will be to support the Global Congress & Event Team in driving and executing different projects – a large part of this being international and local congresses as well as Scientific Meetings hosted in our headquarter office. You will be responsible for project plans and following up together with the Assistant in the team. You are a natural Project Manager with an ability to keep the overview and stay calm in stressful situations.
Your role will also include miscellaneous tasks in relation to events, international congresses, internal meetings, and ad hoc projects. Examples of this could be contact to booth builders, congress organisations, coordination with the Product Management teams, follow-up with markets in relation to sign-up for events, assisting the markets with practicalities in relation to smaller local congresses and assistance with other marketing projects under the Director, International Congresses & Patient Advocacy.
On top of this, you are expected to help out throughout the Marketing Function as the culture in Oticon Medical is that of mutual helpfulness.
You can expect around 15 travelling days per year.
Highly systematic and structured, with a great overview
In order for you to be able to perform well in this position, we expect you to hold a relevant educational background from marketing. You have made your first experience with marketing and you have an appetite to develop more. We expect you to feel comfortable both having the overview and planning the head, but at the same time being detail oriented. You do not have a problem with hands-on tasks and ad hoc assignments. We also expect that you are interested in making a difference through your drive, positive attitude and being service-minded. You are fluent in English.
You are extremely structured and systematic and never lose track of the project or the involved stakeholders – even when there is a tough time pressure and you are balancing a great variety of projects simultaneously. You have an inner drive, are service-minded and like planning, involving key stakeholders and following up closely.
