As an HR Business Partner, you will be a key member of the VARD HR team, working closely with business units to drive our organization’s transformation. So – what are your skills? 

Duties and responsibilities

• Align HR strategies with business objectives, and provide proactive HR support and advice to managers and employees, both on day-to-day matters and strategic initiatives
• Coach and support managers to maximize the potential of their teams, focusing on talent development and robust performance
• Drive strategic workforce planning, talent monitoring, and career development across departments. Identify future skills and competencies needed, driving recruitment and development plans
• Monitor labor costs and HR KPIs and collaborate with managers to implement needed actions
• Foster a positive work environment by implementing routines that encourage contribution, growth, and engagement
• Build strong relationships with local unions, ensuring open communication and positive labor relations
• Specialize in key areas of HR, and lead transformation and improvement projects 

• Higher education within Human Resource Management or similar field
• Proven experience in HR
• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• Ability to work proactively and meet tight deadlines
• Experience or interest in specializing in an HR field to support the broader HR team
• Good cultural understanding and ability to facilitate teamwork
