Kildare Chilling Co. is an indigenous Irish company and producer and exporter of quality Irish meat products. A fully integrated operation with the most modern facilities and equipment in place allows them to be proactive and competitive within all international food markets. We have a requirement for an experienced Sales Executive to join our team, they will join a growing team who sell to and manage relationships with a customer base which includes retails and wholesalers from across Europe and North Africa. Kildare Chilling Co is dedicated to: • The supply of quality food products fifty-two weeks a year, to customer food safety and quality specifications. • Providing a fast efficient professional service. • Providing quality products at competitive prices. • Developing long term mutually beneficial partnerships. Key responsibilities: • Sales development: identifying and capturing new sales and implement export sales business plan that delivers on growth potential of the business, managing approximately 30 accounts per week. • Develop plans and strategies by coordinating with the managers to achieve the sales target. • New Business Development; identifying and pursuing leads. Growing sustainable customer lists within the export market. • Conducting business meetings and negotiations. • Ensure that the products are made available to suit the needs of the customer and by adhering to the sales processes designed to improve the sales. • Keep abreast of the latest developments in the market by studying the competitor's strategies and products, so that the possible threats can be identified and counter attack strategies can be designed. • Maintain trustworthy professional relationship with the existing as well as the prospective clients. • Select, analyse and validate the vendors requirements and maintain and update the database related to it. • Collections and Debtor Control Management as required. Essential Skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to understand the clients' needs and interact with the vendors and the senior management personnel. • At least one additional European language e.g: French or German. • Self-starter, outgoing personality with exceptional selling and negotiating skills to achieve the sales targets ultimately. • 2/3 years sales experience ideally in an export sales role. • Previous experience and knowledge of the European market or the meat industry a benefit but not essential. • Ability to research and analyse the trends in the market and take appropriate decisions or suggest recommendations • Strong presentation skills, positive attitude and ability to work in a target driven environment • A working knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel and Microsoft word is preferable.
