We are looking for a flexible and dynamic Caretaker to oversee the maintenance and

well-being of our Headquarters´ premises in Schengen.

The Caretaker will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, security, and general

upkeep of the premises.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning, landscaping, and repairs to

ensure the properties and the green areas remains in excellent condition.

• Carry out minor repairs and handcraft works in the facilities.

• Support for maintenance, monitoring and control of the building services.

• Monitor the premises to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety

of the employees, visitors, and assets.

• Manage efficiently emergencies such as fire alarms, plumbing issues, or

security breaches, and take appropriate action to resolve them.

• Handle professionally all the required work material, maintaining records

of maintenance activities, expenses, and incidents for reporting purposes.

• Carry out occasional business trips and chauffeur-driven trips.

• Support for opening and locking services at the premises.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and

other relevant standards.

• Provide support for cleaning and maintenance of outdoor facilities and

winter services.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Proven professional experience in property maintenance or in a similar role,

preferably with a completed training in the electrical and craft-technical

area.

• Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques, tools, and equipment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

• You are flexible, careful and reliable.

• You speak German and English. Any other language would be an

advantage.

• Class B driving license.
