Your challenges


Joining this role you will be based in Hørsholm, and be part of a dedicated team responsible for the planning, development and execution of marketing communications activities directed towards products and brand for the markets in region North West Europe: Britain, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands and Belgium. 

Region North West Europe is newly formed- as part of an ambitious re-organisation of the VELUX marketing effort into four powerful regions, connected to a global marketing team, primarily focused on brand and overall strategic coherence. One of our core ambitions of the marketing team is to change from a functional engineering led perspective to a perspective that captures the inspiring benefits of designing buildings with natural light and a great indoor climate.

You will lead the development and execution of fully integrated International marketing campaigns- across multiple trade audiences, in this dynamic growth focused team in a dynamic and challenging role with many stimulating professional challenges. You will work closely with the Senior Installer / Dealer marketing manager and the Director of marketing communications to develop the best plans possible for your target audience.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Work with the Product & Insight Team to create impactful and market-relevant product launches, creating awareness across trade audiences/segments that you will develop and build as effective targets for communications.
  • Set standard across the region for Dealer TTL comms and in partnership with local sales teams, seek opportunities to push the VELUX agenda throughout internal/external Dealer communications (eg events, newsletters, promotions).
  • Design growth driving regional activity that faithfully executes the intent of the global MWBs.
  • Design and execute market relevant installer campaigns, and work closely with Market Support & Planning to ensure communications are landed effectively and on time with local marketing coordinators.
  • Design solutions that cater to local marketing coordinators & sales teams in their efforts to support Dealer customers, allowing access to a variety of global (but locally adapted) digital & print materials. 
  • Develop digital training platform for installers and use to effectively build relationships and reinforce brand awareness.
  • Expand / develop One Stop Shop (replacement) pilot into other relevant markets as well as develop and support Certified Dealer / Contact Pro networks across markets.
  • Leverage our data and insight advantage, in combination with high creativity to develop the very best audience specific content and messaging.
  • Help maintain and develop an industry-leading rewards system, recognizing key areas of development/focus in each market and use as a tool to help business achieve MWBs.
  • Finally- and very much as a mandatory point- Passionately defend, nurture and project the VELUX brand through all materials/ content/assets across the region.

You can expect to travel approximately 25 days annually – both nationally and internationally.


Your qualifications


You are highly experienced across the full marketing mix, ideally with both consumer & B2B environments. With your creative mindset and excellent project management skills, you focus on critical and value adding tasks. You enjoy exploring new possibilities and working with a variety of stakeholders. You have an open and forthcoming manner, and your collaboration and communication skills are outstanding. You thrive in an international environment and know how to act local and think global. Furthermore, you have experience working for a global or regionalised company. You are a passionate soul with an analytical mindset and a drive for accountability and meeting goals and targets. 

Moreover, we expect that you: 

  • Have a relevant educational background, most likely a bachelor’s degree in marketing or commercially relevant field. 
  • Have a proven capability to motivate and develop talent with many years of experience.
  • Strong track record of collaboration with digital E2E / CXU teams funnel lead management optimisation.
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Dutch, Flemish & Nordic languages is plus, but not mandatory.
