Human Resources Manager, TELUS International AI Finland Oy, Tampere

TELUS International is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our AI team in Tampere.

The HR manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes, support business needs, and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, performance management, training, and onboarding.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acts as HR responsible for TELUS AI employees in Finland, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Turkey and France

Reports to HR Director and works closely with global HR colleagues

Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR's existing and recommended systems and processes

Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures

Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision

Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending local human resource policies and procedures

Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances

Acts as a labor law expert; monitor, follow-up, and studies local labour law requirements

Train managers to coach and discipline employees, and counsel employees and supervisors

Nurture a positive working environment

Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

Handle confidential matters with discretion

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in human resources

5+ years in human resources

Experience in working in a multicultural environment, familiarity with working with remote teams

Familiarity with European labour legislation, especially Finnish labour laws

Excellent English and Finnish, skills other language skills are a plus

Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset

Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems

Familiarity with Workday and working knowledge of GSuite is a plus

Recognized as an expert in the HR field.
