5X Home Care Assistant required to work at North Dublin Inner City Home Care and Home Help Services CLG trading as North Dublin Home Care based in 96 Clontarf Road, Clontarf, D03 CT89. Duties will include working as part of a multidisciplinary team to assist in the provision of Homecare for Service Users at their homes, assists and enables service users to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet and bathe; serves meals to service users at table or in bed, and assists with feeding if required; generally assists with service users’ overall comfort and wellbeing; provides interest and activities to stimulate and engage the service user; helps with daily activities such as letter writing, paying bills, collecting benefits; undertakes light cleaning and domestic duties including meal preparation as required; monitors service users 'conditions by taking temperature, pulse, respiration and weight, and contributes to record keeping; liaises with professional staff in carrying out care plans etc. together with any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor, or another authorised officer, from time to time. A separate job description will be issued outlining the main duties and responsibilities of the job for which you are accountable. The applicant must have at least six months of experience in a healthcare environment, or have completed at least two modules in FETAC Level 5 Healthcare (or an equivalent qualification) and commit to obtaining the full QQI Level 5 award within two years.
