We are recruiting for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant with experience of caring for those with Learning Disabilities to join our  working weekends in and around the local Newport area. The Role: As a naturally compassionate person, you will play an essential part in delivering great quality, person-centred care to every individual you encounter. This means recognising the capabilities of the person, promoting their dignity at all times and seeing them as more than just a care plan. You will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care. Daily tasks may include assisting with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care and enabling clients to participate in their favourite activities. You will be an essential member of the team working flexible shifts in an support living or residential environment, delivering great quality, person-centred care to every individual you encounter. It is essential that you have at least 3 months previous paid experience and can work well under pressure.  We take pride in the quality of our care, so we’re looking for experienced care assistants with a genuine, caring approach as well as the skills to deliver person-centred care.
