The Department

The role of Marketing and Communication Team Lead is a newly created position, giving you the opportunity to leave your mark on the role and be responsible for building and developing the communication and marketing department at the company. You will be accountable for the department, which currently comprises two employees specializing in communication and marketing. The company operates with a decentralized structure organized in multiple subsidiaries located in +20 countries. Furthermore, this role will have a global touchpoint since the marketing and communication department is responsible for the overall communication and marketing activities across the majority of their subsidiaries.

The Position

As a Marketing and Communication Team Lead at the company, you will play a pivotal role in the success of their global external communication. Your primary responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including responsibility of planning, executing, and evaluating marketing and communication strategies and campaigns that support their group vision, mission, and values. You will also be directly involved in the daily work of creating and delivering high-quality content, materials, and events for both internal and external communication. Furthermore, it is essential to succeed in this role that you thrive in working hands-on with creative communication and marketing activities.

As the marketing and communication team lead, it is crucial to thrive in an environment where leadership and management of a small team come naturally. You will be responsible for leading a small group of specialists who provide marketing and communication services to the company’s group headquarters and their 70 companies around the world.

Requirements

As Marketing and Communications Team Lead, it is important that you have:

• At least five years of relevant work experience in marketing and communication, preferably within the freight forwarding industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in at least English and Danish
• Proficiency in using various tools and platforms for digital marketing, social media, web design, and graphic design
• A creative and strategic mindset that can generate innovative and effective solutions
• A collaborative and flexible attitude that can work well with different teams, cultures, and stakeholders
• A strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and professionalism
