Descripción de la oferta de trabajo:
Dreges Hotell is looking for a practical, positive and hands-on Head Chef to take responsibility for the kitchen at our local hotel in Stranda.
We are a down-to-earth hotel with 62 rooms, restaurant, lobby bar, two meeting rooms and swimming pool, located in the heart of Fjord Norway. The hotel is an important local meeting place and welcomes a mix of groups, à la carte guests, business travelers, workers and locals throughout the year.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for all food served at the hotel. This includes breakfast, group menus, à la carte, meetings, events and daily hotel service. In the busy summer season, you will lead a small team of chefs and handle a higher number of guests. In the quieter low season, you will mostly work alone or together with one other chef, so it is important that you are comfortable working independently and finding practical solutions.
You will also be part of the hotel's management team and help shape the way we develop the hotel and our food offering.
At Dreges Hotell we care about serving good, honest food with a local touch. Stranda and the surrounding area have many quality local food products, and we like to use these where possible. The food should fit our guests, the season and the hotel: tasty, reliable and welcoming.
The most important thing we are looking for is a positive attitude, flexibility and a willingness to adapt to our guests' needs and wishes. You should enjoy working in a small local team, be comfortable taking responsibility and be willing to move to Stranda.

-
Has experience as a chef and enjoys taking responsibility
-
