We are seeking a creative and versatile Graphic Designer with strong video editing skills to join our design team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing captivating visuals, creating and editing engaging video content, and enhancing our brand’s digital presence. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver skilled at translating ideas into visually striking and effective multimedia assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design: Develop creative designs for marketing materials, social media, and digital platforms, ensuring that visuals align with our brand guidelines and project requirements.

Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality video content for various channels, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.

Motion Graphics: Create compelling motion graphics and animated visuals to enhance video projects.

Content Creation: Work collaboratively with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualise and execute visual content, including illustrations, infographics, and promotional assets.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to delivery, while meeting tight deadlines.

Quality Control: Ensure all content is delivered to a high standard, with a strong emphasis on detail, consistency, and visual impact.

Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and software to improve design and video editing techniques continuously.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Film/Video Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in graphic design and video editing, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in both areas.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.

Familiarity with other design and editing tools like Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or 3D software is a plus.

Design Expertise: Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

Video Editing Skills: Ability to edit footage, apply colour grading, and add transitions and special effects for a professional look.

Motion Graphics: Experience creating animations and kinetic typography.

Creative Thinking: Ability to generate innovative concepts and execute them effectively.

Communication: Excellent communication skills to present and articulate design ideas and concepts.

Desirable -

Experience with 3D modelling and animation software.

Knowledge of sound design and audio editing for video content.

Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and trends.
