Furniture Production Operative. Mid-East. Irlanda

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy furniture manufacturer based in Bray Co Wicklow.

We are looking for the right person to become part of long-established business which produces high quality furniture products for the domestic and international markets.  

Job Description:

Foam fabrication.  Spraying up wood and foam substrate components.  Bonding fabrics and polyurethane and plastics components.  Using industrial spraying equipment and water based adhesives.  Assembly and sub assembly operations.  Performing sub assembly and light assembly work where required.  Using pneumatic power tools and hand tools.  Maintaining efficient safe working practices all the time.  Perform quality control check throughout and at final stages of operation.  Consult with production supervisor/management alike with regard to Quality Control and Health & Safety.  

Warehousing:  

Goods inwards and outwards, cleaning and packing goods outwards and assisting in loading delivery vehicles

Taking in goods and breaking down pallets, storing items in designated location, reporting any faults or damage to manager.  

Manufacturing Assistant:  

Assisting other team members on the factory floor in the production of finished chair products. Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to.  

General Operative:  

Carrying out other adhoc duties when required.  

Minimum Requirements:  

Fluent English desirable.  Experience working in a production environment.  Manual Handling Certification an advantage but not essential.  Junior Certificate or equivalent.  Willingness to learn.  Reliable and Excellent Time Keeping a must.
