Funding and Frameworks Manager South London Academy, Woolwich, London £28,000 - £35,000 Location: 2nd Floor, 115-123 Powis St, London SE18 6JL Hours: 7.5 hours per day, 5 days a week Company: Independent HE provider Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (dependant on experience) Responsible for development, delivery and growth of the institution’s higher education, Traineeship, and Apprenticeship programmes including funding applications, business development and marketing of programmes. Successful Candidates * Educated to degree level or equivalent * Experience in tender process and funding applications * Knowledge and understanding of how to effectively work in partnership with Colleges and the Business and Community sector * Good understanding of the requirements and good practices associated with higher education and work-related learning * Meet deadlines and targets, demonstrating an ability to achieve despite constraints or obstacles Responsibilities include: * Leading business development activities such as application to government-funded registers of training organisations, tender/bid applications, institution partnerships and Apprenticeships * Undertaking market research to identify sectors with requirements that can be met by the institution, including conducting a Training Needs Analysis with the employer, where necessary * In liaison with Senior Managers and Course Managers, developing and maintaining good relationships with employers, relevant professional bodies, and other groups associated with Business Development and Employment Services. * Liaising and working with course managers to create and developing new and existing higher education programmes, traineeships and apprenticeship opportunities with employers. * Ensuring that the whole provision works effectively towards the achievement of both income and expenditure and study programme targets (e.g. financial margins and employability). * Set and and review targets relating to student enrolment, retention, achievement and employability in conjunction with Senior Managers.
