Your mission:  

Our Alternatives Advisory team is growing and we are looking for people who are eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Junior Consultant (m/f) to join the expanding Alternatives practice.  

The team specialises in Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Debt and helps their Alternative Investment clients, such as fund managers and their service providers, to master a range of projects at different phases of their business cycle with a specific focus on the clients' strategy, operations, processes and systems.

In this role, you will participate in the realisation of assignments for PwC clients, related to the financial sector with a specific focus on the clients` strategy, operations, processes and systems.  

The Alternatives Advisory team delivers “360-degree solutions”, well-tailored to the individual client's needs, supporting them throughout their entire projects, from kick-off over process design to implementation and change management, looking at the whole range from governance to IT. Typical engagements include: health-checks; target operating model analysis, design and implementation; market studies, benchmarking and vendor selection exercises; as well as process improvement projects.

Be a part of our team where you will:  

• Assist in defining strategy, target operating models and design processes;

• Advise on systems and solutions based on client needs and business requirements;  

• Perform market studies and benchmarking exercises;

• Review and support internal control functions (Risk Management and Compliance);

• Prepare material to assist the business development of the team such as service presentation or external/internal training;

• Being part of a project team to provide support on the optimization of the client`s performance in fields such as organisation, project management, operational tasks, process implementation or data analytics;

• Develop a strong expertise on the regulatory and operational framework as well as market practice related to the Alternative Investment industry;

• Support your team in building trusted relationships, developing new services and solutions.  

Let's talk about you. If you have/are …

• A degree from University, an Engineering School or a Business School;

• A first experience in Consulting Services, in Asset Management or in Asset Servicing would be an advantage;

• Eager to understand key drivers and main recent developments in the Alternative Investment industry as well as key operations and laws and regulations impacting the sector;

• Keen to work on projects of various sizes involving various clients;

• Strong analytical skills allow you to quickly understand a problem, to identify possible solutions and key success factors as well as to design client tailored solutions;

• A good team player and capable of working independently or in a team on multiple tasks;

• Reliable, organised, curious, rigorous and proactive and you have the ability to develop client relationships;

• Advanced computer skills (MS Office);

• Able to command of written and verbal communication of complex ideas effectively - in English, both written and oral. Additional languages, such as French, German or Luxembourgish will be considered an advantage.

• Knowledge of or experience with alternative investment specific software as well as technical experience on for example Power BI, SQL, AI is an asset.
